Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge
The Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge (IJTK) is a peer-reviewed journal publishing original research on traditional knowledge systems, ethno-biology, ethno-medicine, and the scientific validation of indigenous practices.
Focus and Scope
IJTK covers Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Unani, Naturopathy, Homoeopathy and Folk-remedies, ethno-biology, ethno-medicine, and validation studies of indigenous health practices, as well as non-medicinal applications of traditional materials.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a single-blind peer review process, typically 4 to 8 weeks. Each submission is evaluated by 2-3 expert reviewers; acceptance requires positive feedback from at least two reviewers. The Editor makes the final decision.
Author Guidelines
Manuscripts should be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit research papers, reviews, and short communications. Format references in the journal style and include an abstract of up to 250 words and 4-6 keywords.
Publication Charges
CSIR-NIScPR does not levy Article Processing Charges (APCs) or Article Submission Charges.
